Cellable
2025
Branding / Sculpture / Electronic art

Cellable is a speculative skin brand that reimagines human skin as fashionable, adaptable surfaces for extreme heat conditions. It primarily critiques a future in which even human skin is commodified, marketed, and sold. Drawing from the word cell (as in biological cell) and sellable, the brand critiques the profit-driven industry that turns everything—including our own bodies—into products. In this future, skin is not just protection but fashion: colorful, customizable, and seasonal, like fast fashion 2.0.
Basic Skin Line

Cellable’s basic skin line
transforms skin into a mode of self-expression, offering vibrant, trend-driven options that evolve with the seasons.

Functional Skin Line
The functional skin line, called Riseskin, imagines inflatable skin that allows people to float in flooded cities, ensuring survival in a world reshaped by climate change.

Sale Corner
A sale corner within the gallery invited visitors to touch, feel, and inflate the skins themselves, offering an interactive, hands-on experience. The products in the sale boxes were prototypes—unrefined outcomes from my process—offering a glimpse into the evolving nature of the project.
